2021.10.25 11:20 GreybornThe2nd [FO3] Need some help adjusting the 'Ballcap with Glasses' mesh

Alright, to try and make a long story short I've been trying to replace the normal Pre-War Baseball Cap mesh with the Ballcap with Glasses mesh - I just find the normal baseball cap mesh sorta atrocious (From being oversized and not fitting on any head properly to being weirdly lumpy to completely lacking the back 'hole' baseball caps normally have) and find the 'ballcap' one superior. I've already switched the meshes no problem and retextured the hat itself to be the same full red color as the normal Pre-War Baseball Cap, so no problems there, but now I've run into the issue of the glasses.
I've followed all sorts of tutorials on mesh editing, I've tried doing everything I can to the textures themselves, I've worked on it for a darn few hours trying everything I can think of or find a tutorial on but with no success on just removing those damned glasses from the cap mesh. Closest I managed to get was adjusting it, having it look perfectly fine in Nifscope but then either being invisible or utterly twisted and messed up in-game. So yea, reaching out to see if any other modders with more experience in mesh adjustments than I could lend a hand somehow!

With what I now know was 8 hours left on The Bookkeeper I opened Hitman to see if there was an elusive target available. "Arriving in 8 hours" Ok, I thought, I'll do that tomorrow so I don't miss it. Set reminder on my phone, returned next day... no target.

2021.10.25 11:20 MegaDan94 What was going on with the X parasites in Metroid Dread?

I haven’t played Fusion, but I’ve seen the intro, so I get the basics of the X parasites, but nothing more.
Why were they all imprisoned in Elum? How did they escape? Were they working with Raven Beak? If so, then why did they infect him at the end? And if not, then why did he do this whole experiment with Samus on a planet with X parasites? And why did they reactivate the EMMIs? And why did that same X parasite then save Samus at the end, didn’t it want her dead before?
There was also a free X parasite that Samus saw a video of in the intro, just roaming around. Why was it free if all the rest were imprisoned?

2021.10.25 11:20 scream2000s I’m not sure who the heck I dated and it’s bothering me

I had a relationship earlier this year, it was my first serious relationship. I met a guy from insta and we met up, he was extremely charming and told me everything I wanted to hear. I developed feelings for him, however our whole relationship was during lockdown so we didn’t see each other as much as we could’ve. I use to blame it on lockdown but he also had very strange routines and behaviors, he would sleep all day and miss out on meeting me. The relationship became draining as he would keep doing this, he also never tried to have sex with me or even kiss me despite saying he wanted to. As I said, very strange guy.
Anyway he was from the “hood” but I felt like he kept a lot of things with me, i suspected he was in a gang or had some kind of criminal record because of various things and every time he was with me his mum would be ringing him like crazy (he would answer her sometimes). He did have a stable job working for his dads company which is why I thought he was somewhat normal. He did tell me he hung out with drug dealers but he always talked about his so-called morals. Thing is he dressed like a gang member, posted some suspicious stuff like constant shoe selling, talked about how many fights he’d been in. Well, he ended up ghosting me after 5-6months which has pretty much traumatized me. I still think about it every day as it was quite brutal. He was meant to come round to mine and the last text he sent me was telling me that he had woken up and I never heard from him again.
During this relationship I noticed a guy followed me who knew him (he had commented on his pictures so I knew they were friends at some point). This guy has a gun and a knife in his profile picture which was so freaky. I feel like I was dating a guy I barely knew and it really messes me up. This mystery really bugs me and I almost feel like reaching out to people and trying to find out who this guy I dated really was, I know I shouldn’t be I don’t know why it still bothers me after 6 months of not being with him.
